Today is the first day of summer and my Birthday!

June: A great month

Today is the first day of June. I really love June. It is the end of school, the start of summer, my birthday, and when all the cool movies and games come out. For example Hancock and Wall•e comes out. Also the Spore creature demo is realized on the 17th.  Also if you don’t know Spencer’s Birthday is June 15, Riley’s is the 16th, and mine is the 21st. All in the same week of June. The best part of June is no school and the start of summer, witch is the 20th instead of the 21st this year. My summer is packed with great stuff. I have my birthday, then a camp for a week. Late June I am off the Costa Rica for two awesome weeks. A couple days later I start a boy scout  camp. Even half of those are no in June, June still is a pretty rock’n month for me.  Also just an update I am going to stop doing the Random Holidays in a Month thing because there are so many other sites that do it and it is a wast of time. If you a lot of people comment on this and say they really love the random holidays thing than I may start it up again. Go out and have a great June!

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Yesterday, I saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I it was fantastic! It had a lot of humor and action. I would give it 4 and half out of five stars. I really enjoyed seeing a more modern version of Indiana Jones. In this movie Indy is reunited with his ex-girlfriend. He later finds out he as a son named Henry (Mutt). Mutt, Indy, his wife, and Ox, try to find out the mystery of the crystal scull. Half way through Indy releases the scull was made by E.T.s. Inside the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull they find seven crystal skeleton. Six of them have a skull attached, one doesn’t. Ox places the scull on the seventh and then the other body’s start to come together. After all of the skeletons form together they create a fleshy alien. The alien starts to take of in its ship. Doing this is destroys the temple and floods the Kingdom. The next day, Indiana get married with his almost wife. All in all, I thought this was a fantastic way to end the series. I really hope they make more movies as good as this.

Something To Look Forward To

We recognize that our blog has not had many new posts recently.  There is a reason for that!  We are kids and need to do homework.  Anyway, there are only about 20 days left of school and it will very soon be summer.  We have a cool plan on keeping a “Summer Journal.”  There will be a new post as often as possible from one of us.  The posts will include our adventures, discoveries, stories of vacations, travel log and more.

Today is Dad’s Birthday!

He was born May 17, 1965 somewhere on the east coast.

Ending the (school) Year!

Luckily, school for me and many others will come to a stop on June 12, 2008. Yesterday there was exactly a month left of school, and 23 day of actual school. So you can say this is the last month of school. Many thing go on at the end of the school. One is (my favorite) the end of the year party. For me it will be on the 10th of June.  All of the six grade classes, except one, are going to See Kong Fu Panda. Followed by a activity of the teachers choice. My class, like many others, are going to Rinconada Park. There will play games and have loads of food. The games may include capture the flag, some from of tag, and more. Beside the end of the year party there are many other thing for me to look forward to. Like my birthday on June 21, camps, vacation in Costa Rica, free bowling (thanks to school), and having no School! 

Summer of Music

Summer is coming up soon.  I am extremely excited.  Recently I have been listening to some of the music I listened to a lot last summer and it has really made summer seem even closer.  Music is something that I identify with and certain songs from last year are standing out to me.  I am going to make a list of some of the music that I really like that fits the “summer mood.”

Apple Patents

Apple sure likes their ideas a to be left a tight kept secret until they are released.  They can keep a secret about what they are doing exactly but when they file a patent they have no way of keeping our curious little eyes away.  Luckily for them, assuming the main reason they keeps such a secret is to prevent copy cats, they are still safe.  Companies can’t copy ideas from Apple when they are getting the information from a patent.

Quite often many of the ideas are patented years before we ever see a product from Apple.  Though, if Apple has patented the idea we can at least keep our hopes up.  I have put together a list of interesting patents Apple has filed in the past and where we see the patent in their products.  Toward the end of the list are patents filed that have currently not made their way into any product.  By understanding how Apple’s previous patents have made their way into our lives and computers (at least us who use Macs) you should be able to get an idea of what Apple has planed for the future.
